Early years of life are “unknown” beautiful years. At this time your
luscious and powerful body lights up like fire and lifts flesh and spirit. When you hear ‘your are beautiful’ or “handsome” you feel like electric circuit gone full circle.
“You are so beautiful” is a complex brew of fire, reassurance and harm.
But “you are not beautiful” said calmly even casually could blow off the mind’s lid too.
“You are not beautiful” is a hot dagger. It elicits a surprise, leaving sprinkled ashes of pain unsettled. In the minds of youths even the old, it is a dark spot repeatedly seen at odd moments. That statement plays in the head, perhaps, will never go away, unless wisdom overtakes your heart.
Have you been a victim of this weird remark often thrown at people?
How did you react through its blend and bend?
Anyway, reactions may vary!
Yet, we invite you to explore some lines. Perhaps, this statement,” you are not beautiful” can be exposed and posted where it belongs – as “nothing”. Some would say useless.
Like success, being beautiful is a fine mind tuner capable of confusing the unmindful. Human mind, lack of knowledge and experience give it undue importance. But check out a thought.
Beauty has variety, even content. As you take a walk, observe plants and flowers. You are presented with wide array of beauty. Their structures spring surprise. Their arrangements present an orchestra. They all sprout, a wonder! Please, lift your nose to the fragrances from each flower satisfying wide range of mental needs. They are all beautiful.
That is how we are. Beautiful people!
Some of these plants – flowers have content, texture, durability and shine. Ditto to you and all humans. Can you learn from the plants the nature of beauty? To say you are not beautiful is shallow, unthinking devoid of awe and understanding that should guide your mind.
“You are not beautiful” is an industry regularly polished by vanity. Here money and profit are the language standing upfront. Ironically, these tend to distort beauty. The media also pads empties and fuels illusions. Remember, what you buy determines what you use. Would you buy “what is not beautiful” in the market place of this world?
“But beautiful body needs care even enhancement.”
Yet, it has also been reasoned that in the effort to enhance beauty one should not quarrel over everything, simply quarrel over the empties.
From manicure to pedicure, makeup artistry to hair works, cosmetics to body implants, huge gains are made from the word beautiful.
But what about stories of beauty enhancement gone wayward?
Have you watched movie clips of implants in breasts burst when air airborne? Tummy-tuck simply for aesthetics untuck? (some say it is real). Anyway, we have at least seen body bleached taking a reverse gear – living scars and tears. Then, it is a reminder to put our minds to good sense and common sense in our effort to enhance beauty.
The 1970s/80s science fiction movies of space shuttles and people is instructive. At that time the Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) spewed fearful stories. These robotic actors always have one implant or the other that enable them to perform humanly impossible tasks.
Indeed, if current body enhancements craze and some types of beauty parades are aimed at turning this fiction to reality, then, one wonders if anything has been learned from the beauty of plants and flowers we see every day.
Learn from the plants, the greatest teacher says.
Remain beautiful in body, mind and spirit.
